The Gospel of Luke (Luke 2, 8-18) tells the story of the announcement of a fact: an extraordinary child is born. Surprised by this announcement, the sheperds decided to go and see and check for themselves.
Something similar can happen to us: nature sends us a fascinating message: “I can be understood. It may take effort, it may take generations of wise and patient men, but I can be understood”.
I had the opportunity to find another consideration: you really understand something when you know its meaning. You understand the meaning of a wheel when you see the function it performs in the whole car, you understand the meaning of a decoupling capacitor when you understand its importance in providing a low impedance path for fast supply current demands.
This is exactly what happened to those poor shepherds. There is nothing unusual about a baby boy. The announcement of its born was very unusual, an story that happened once and can be repeated and remembered many times. But an story anchored in the past.
However, they had in front of their eyes a fact that, if understood, had the power to change the course of history by changing the lives of many, myself included.
This baby, had the aspiration to be the meaning of everything, of being God while still being a human creature. When this boy became adult, many could fully understood. And by believing those witness, this notice has spread all over the world, because it is a contemporary history.
For this reason, I wish you a Merry Christmas.
This newsletter will take a few weeks rest to come back with new fascinating stories.
